Why do some teams consistently deliver higher performance than others?

Researchers at MIT set out to solve that puzzle. Hoping to decode the “It factor” that made groups click.

The data showed that the most important predictor of a team’s success was its communication patterns. Those patterns were as significant as all other factors—intelligence, personality, talent—combined

The honesty can only begin when we actually talk and listen.

Talking is a real-time experience where every participant express their thoughts, observations and opinions. Honesty is possible where respect, trust, listening and support is provided through this experience.

The conversation by 7Members begins with the session of talking, listening and reflecting which essentially evolves into a guided routine for a team.

The human brain can comfortably process around 7 pieces of information, give or take a few. This is known as Miller's Law or the «magical number seven». Same can be applied to people we work together with on complex tasks.

Why 7

It is said that 5 to 9 members tend to perform better than larger or smaller teams and may be a good number for a team to manage and coordinate information effectively.

7 MEMBERS invites the team to conversation which ultimately is about discovering the opportunity and sense of belonging to the common purpose. Talking on what people expect, need, what drives or concerns them.
